Mary Beth Talks to Jesus...

If you live long enough invariably you see people who meant a great deal to you pass away. It's one of the natural laws of this old world. In a way it is a curse. It is hard to see a person who once comforted you or you comforted them come to the end of life on earth.

But for the Christian, ah, for the Christian, this same death is just a marker in the road of life that marks a new beginning. "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." Hebrews 9:27 The Holy Bible KJV. But for the person who has put their trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior this judgement on the record has already taken place. For our dear Heavenly Father, Almighty God has said, "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us." Psalm 103:12 KJV.

He says He will remember our sins no more. That we have been restored to fellowship with Him by accepting His precious gift of His Son's atonement for our sins. This is the crux or focal point of the Holy Bible. By the way crux is a Latin word meaning cross. So, if you will the focal point of the Bible is The Cross and thus we preach Christ crucified. But the preaching of Christ to those who are lost is foolishness but to those of us who have been redeemed it is our salvation.

We have lost a loved one, but we never owned her. She was on loan to us from God and she has gone back to her rightful owner. And she is blessed. She is blessed because she overcame this world and all of it's temptations. She held firm to the right, eschewed [or avoided] the wrong and let everyone know who would listen that she believed in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, as her personal Savior, Master and LORD.

For that she receives several crowns which I know she will gladly lay at the feet of Jesus. Some say casting crowns at the feet of Jesus, but Mary Beth is too much like THE LITTLEST ANGEL to throw anything. She would sneak up and lay them gently at His feet when He wasn't watching and try to sneak off without Him noticing. But this is Jesus. I can hear Him saying, "Mary Beth, come here my Dear Child. Here sit on my lap and talk to me. Thank You for the gifts. Where have you been all this time? And what have you been up to? I've been waiting forever to see you." And Mary Beth will laugh and giggle as she begins to tell the Creator of the Universe about her two sons, Lijiah and Sam, and her husband Wayne and the life she enjoyed while here on earth.

And I think I here angels singing in the background, Welcome Home, My Child. And her little sister Donna Lee runs up to be rejoined with a sister she never knew until now. See, the fairytale does come true. There is a Heaven. There is a hereafter. I hope to see you there too. I know I will see my loved ones there. I can hardly wait.

Thank You Dear Heavenly Father, Redeemer of my soul...
